How long have you been in business?

The Initial Co. has been operating professionally in the state of Indiana since September of 2009. In April of 2016, The Initial Co. moved to Colorado under new ownership.

What is your return policy?

Due to the custom nature of our products, personalized goods are not returnable. If your item is received incorrect or damaged, we will issue a return shipping label and get a replacement shipped to you ASAP. However, given the extremely custom nature of our work, all sales are final.

Do you ship outside of the United States?

Sorry, at this time, The Initial Co. only ships within the continental United States. 

What is the best way to care for my textile goods from The Initial Co.?

Each of our items are handmade and carefully constructed to last for many, many years. However, it is the end user's responsibility to take care in laundering and using their products in such a way that will uphold the fragile and delicate integrity of each piece. 

Wash items on the lowest, gentlest setting on your machine washer, in cold water. To dry, tumble on the lowest machine setting (for delicates, preferably), or hang dry for optimal results. For a like-new appearance after each wash, iron your item flat.

Do you sell your items wholesale?

Yes! We are located in several stores across the country, primarily within the midwest. To apply for a wholesale account and receive wholesale pricing, email hello@theinitialco.com.

What is your turnaround on orders?

Most orders are quoted a 2- 3 week turnaround time, though some larger orders, or orders involving blank apparel which is not in stock, may take longer.

Do you ever allow rush orders if I need my products before your 2 week turnaround?

Orders can be rushed however a rush fee will be applied to any orders needed before the quoted 2 - 3 week time. The rush fee will be quoted based on the individual order. Additionally, no discounts will be applied to rushed orders. Depending on the order requests, some rush requests may not be met. What carrier do you use for shipping?

Most of our shipments are sent using the United States Postal Service. The team at The Initial Co. does everything within our power to ensure prompt delivery of your goods, starting with our prompt and careful shipping process at our facility. However, once a package leaves our facility, The Initial Co. is no longer responsible for delays and shipping issues as it pertains to the carrier (weather delays, workforce issues, etc.). If you wish for The Initial Co. to use a specific carrier, please contact hello@theinitialco.com. Additional shipping rates may apply for special services.
